The Women’s National team competed in the 3rd WFC. The team had beaten Japan the first time they met and they then carried on to be the first Asian team to beat a European team when the conquered Great Britain. They ended the miracle by beating Poland in the third placing game after an amazing solo goal by Martha Quek.
The Ngee Ann event was also becoming increasingly popular, with the World’s best floorballers coming to Singapore yet again to showcase their amazing talent.
